Our Team

A.I. Capital Research was spun-off from​ A.I. Capital Management when we realized that the cutting edge machine learning we were using to trade on the Forex market could also be used to help the business succeed in the marketplace.

Marshall Chang is the president of the company but focuses his effort on the asset management side of the business.  The day to day operations is run by Cameron Fen, Head of Research.  Duncan Wong runs the leads the quant-trading partnership aspect of the business.

Marshall has been trading FX markets for 5 years. As a Master in Finance graduate from Brandeis International Business school, he combines his insight in financial markets with passion for machine learning and expertise in programming, striving to build the first game changing A.I. trading system to disrupt the markets.

Cameron Fen is a Ph.D. Student at the University of Michigan.  As a researcher at the Philadelphia Federal Reserve, Cameron used recurrent neural networks to forecast economic variables like GDP, beating previous state-of-the-art forecasting methods.  His expertise in machine learning includes Bayesian methods, NLP, and traditional ML tools like Random Forests.  

Duncan has been developing and trading in a proprietary trading firm in Hong Kong for two years. With an average 30% annual return from his list of quantitative strategies, he decided to apply his expertise in AI Capital Research's exciting projects. His in-depth knowledge of computer-driven trading operations is a huge asset for end-to-end deployment of quantitative strategies
